Third Foreign Office Consultation Guatemala- India

Guatemala and India held the Third Foreign Office Consultation Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Guatemala and the Ministry of External Affairs of India held the Third Meeting of the Mechanism for Political Consultations, a space for dialogue that allowed to jointly address the broad bilateral agenda between the two countries.

As a result of the discussions, the areas of opportunity for growth that exist between the two markets, as well as the potential for investment in various areas related to industry, technology and services were presented.
Guatemala thanked India for the South-South cooperation it provides to Guatemala, as well as the wide range of scholarships, training and exchanges of best practices it offers to the country.

Both countries recognised the importance of working in a coordinated manner on issues of regional and multilateral interest, including food security, climate change, disaster reduction, security, among others, and welcomed the high level of understanding that allowed agreements to be achieved to promote economic and commercial initiatives as well as cooperation and collaboration between the two countries.
