On Sunday, September 15th 2025, the iconic tower Qutub Minar in New Delhi, India was illuminated with the flag of Guatemala, in commemoration of the 204th anniversary of independence.
Members of the Guatemalan community living in India also participated in the event and sang the National Anthem of Guatemala with pride.
