About Pacaya Volcano

This volcano is located between the departments of Guatemala and Escuintla and is part of the Central American Volcanic Arc. For a whole century this volcano did not erupt but in 1965 it violently erupted and has been in constant eruption ever since. The Pacaya Volcano is 8372.7 feet above sea level.
