On Saturday, April 26th 2025, as previous year traditions, the Embassy of Guatemala along with other Latin American countries participated in the “Día E” celebrations organized by Instituto Cervantes, New Delhi. This event was organized to commemorate the International Day of the Spanish language, celebrated every year on April 23rd.

During Spanish Day “E-Day”, The Guatemalan Embassy shared with Latin American counterparts, students and friends, the history, legacy and culture of Guatemala including the legacy of the Nobel Prize winner in Literature (1967) Miguel Ángel Asturias. During the event the participants learned about Guatemalan culture, tasting gastronomy, admiring typical textiles, playing “cincos / marbles” like in the traditional Guatemalan fairs and festivals.
